The Tampa Y offers swim lessons for all ages and everyone from babies to seniors have learned how to be safe and confident around bodies of water. Swim lesson students will build foundational skills, achieve curriculum benchmarks, and encounter new challenges to encourage their improvement as they progress through the YMCA swim lessons program. The Homeschool Program at the YMCA is a semester-long session that follows the Hillsborough County School District calendar. The 2023 fall semester begins the week of Monday, Aug. 21, 2023. Each semester includes two, 2-hour sessions per week, excluding holiday breaks. Sessions will include at least one hour of physical education (PE). The Teen Achievers program is available to teens who live and attend school in Hillsborough County and the Zephyrhills area. Teens in the program meet Wednesday 4:30 - 5:30pm at the Central City Y.
